The Founder and Chancellor of Viewpoint University is Rick Knobe. Chancellor Knobe brings vast knowledge and experience to class each day. Rick was born in Chicago, and lived for a few years in Sioux City. Rick moved to Sioux Falls in 1971, and became its mayor in 1974. He served for 10 years, during the period in the city's history commonly known as the "Good Years." Founder Knobe is a member of the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He still dabbles in music, but don't ask him to sing. Rick is a talk radio host with nearly 20 years behind the microphone. His resume includes service on numerous local and state boards. Rick is becoming a famous buffalo rancher as owner and manager of the Lazy RRse Buffalo Ranch.
